A new partner? Geert de Troyer from Campus de Helix (Belgium)

Last week, as part of an Erasmus+ programme, Geert de Troyer, a teacher from Maasmechelen (Belgium) was taking part in a study visit at EOI de Santiago. Loli Patiño, his host at the school, was kind enough to include our proposal and they both came to visit us on Wednesday, April 6. The programme included a class observation of a teacher training course (English for teachers, called CALC here), a presentation of my Erasmus+ experience at Jazykova Skola and the project Palabras da man ao corazón, followed by a discussion, and an observation of a theatre rehearsal by our drama group.

We thoroughly enjoyed Geert's and Loli's visit, specially since they were both really willing to exchange impressions and actively participated in the class observation, and we thank them for coming all the way to Ribeira and displaying such enthusiasm and interest in our projects.

On top of that, we are also very excited because Geert expressed his interest in the project and told us he would present it to the Campus de Helix back home and hopefully some teachers are interested and will join our project in the future.

It would be a privilege if Campus de Helix became partner in the Palabras da man ao corazón project. They would also be our first partner from Belgium!
